S.A.R.C. is Peter Desmet and Lieven Van Pée and S.A. stands for Sint-Amandsberg, a notorious outbreak of the Ghent citadel, also know as just across de Dampuurt, if I remember well, R probably stands for recording and if the C was an S it could go for studio but also for SARS which just broke out before, if I remember well... so that could explain the S turned into C which is part of REC... but where's the E?
